Mike Torino, Southeast Regional Sales Manager

I was born in New York City but headed south with my family at a young age to live in the warmer climate of South Florida. Coming from a very large Italian family, food and wine was everywhere, all the time! My true passion for wine really came alive while working at L'Escalier Restaurant at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL. After receiving AAA Five Diamond status I decided it was time to move on and I went to work for TransAtlantic Wine & Spirits, a division of Southern Wine & Spirits in FL. From there I was persuaded to move back to New York City and went to work for Bonny Doon Vineyard and now Pacific Rim Winemakers to follow the wonders of Riesling. On any given weekend you can find me exploring the many restaurants and wine bars of New York with my girlfriend Lisa and friends, after all without good friends, family and wine what would life be?
